About me
Christopher Benedikt Pilscheur
Dipl.-Ing. (FH) Electrical Engineering · M.Sc. Materials Science & Engineering
Clean-tech entrepreneur, electrical engineer and materials scientist with more than ten years of international experience as founder and CEO of a deep-tech startup (Soraytec), as a technology-transfer consultant, and as a researcher at, among others, the Masdar Institute (in collaboration with MIT) and Fraunhofer ISE. Today I bring this engineering depth to energy consulting and funding support for owners and businesses — factual, independent and transparent.
Qualification
Dipl.-Ing. (FH) Electrical Engineering (HAW Hamburg) and Master of Science in Materials Science & Engineering (Masdar Institute, Abu Dhabi, in collaboration with MIT). Listed on the national energy-efficiency expert register (dena, German Energy Agency) as an Energy Efficiency Expert (EEE) for residential and non-residential buildings.
Focus areas
Energy consulting and iSFP (individual renovation roadmap) for residential buildings, BEG individual measures (German federal building efficiency scheme) and KfW heating subsidies. In addition: photovoltaics and storage, grid and installation quality, measurement and control technology (MSR), building automation, and material testing for PV (anti-soiling coatings, among others).
Approach
Independent, factual and transparent. Ten years of responsibility for international R&D teams and partnerships with energy utilities (Southern Company, Exelon, EDP) taught me that good solutions pay off and also get approved. No product recommendations — just concepts tailored to your building and budget.
